Our approach to preparing for retirement is not a “one-and-done” method. A successful strategy requires a comprehensive, ongoing approach that takes into consideration the various stages of life and one’s changing needs.
Regardless of your net worth, it’s important to have a basic estate plan in place. Having the proper legal documents in place while you are living and at death will save time and money, help prevent legal issues, and ensure your wishes are executed. We work with each individual client to determine the appropriate documents needed for their estate and situation.
The goal of tax planning is to arrange your financial affairs in order to optimize your taxes now and in the future. At Acute Financial, we feel this opportunity is too often ignored resulting in missed opportunities for tax savings.
We specialize in analyzing your tax situation and creating strategies specific to your situation. We help you optimize your taxes now and during retirement in an effort to improve the tax efficiency of your financial plan.
Deciding when to start collecting Social Security benefits can be one of the most important retirement-income decisions you'll make. Unfortunately, many people decide to claim their benefits without understanding all of their options. This lack of understanding often leads to poor choices and reduced benefits for the rest of their life.
At Acute Financial, we believe Social Security can be one of the cornerstones of your retirement and optimizing these benefits is critical. We can help you navigate the complex rules and claiming strategies to arrive at the best options for your situation.
Developing strategies for when and how to trigger income throughout retirement is a key component of a successful retirement. At Acute Financial, we help you develop a plan that meets your income needs while also factoring in the other "what ifs" of life. Our expertise and guidance will help you successfully navigate this critical area of retirement.
Having a portfolio that properly balances risk versus returns during retirement is critical. We use our unique process called the Acute Financial Method to create strategies that meet your specific needs and risk profile. Our method allows us to design an investment strategy with the correct asset allocation that can protect against losses and improve investment performance.
At Acute Financial, we are always striving to help our clients achieve the retirement they imagined, which is why we are a select provider of AssetLock™ technology. It’s a more secure, smart and simple approach for helping take the emotion out of investing.
